Braces?

So I thought we had a few more years before we got into braces and such...apparently not! I took my kids to the dentist last month and he suggested I take Caden to an orthodontist to check on his top front teeth. One grew in in front of his bottom teeth and the other grew in behind his bottom teeth. They called it a cross bite. So I called Wed. to take him in for a consultation and they were able to get him in on Thursday and we were back in on Friday to get the braces on. The orthodontist said if we waited until he was older he might wear his gums down and end up needing gum surgery! So we opted not to wait...and now our little guy has braces! Crazy!! Luckily he is very excited. Alli was pretty upset he gets braces before her...but her time will come!

The Living Planet Aquarium

Once again (and for the last time) my kids are off track. It's always a challenge to find things to keep them busy with the weather so cold, but Alli came up with the grand idea to go to the living planet aquarium. I didn't know how entertained they would be...but they loved it! These were the cutest fish there!

I finally got my camera out to capture Owen's growth. He's getting so big so fast! His little personality is really starting to show and we all can't get enough of him.

The kids will be getting ready for school and pass by him and have to come give him a kiss or five. Needless to say, getting ready for school takes a whole lot longer than it should! I can't say I blame them though...I can't resist him either!
