End of baseball season! :(
I wrote this post yesterday before Caden's last game...or so I thought. To my happy surprise, Caden's team gets to go to the playoffs. So one more week of baseball (unless they lose of course). It has been so fun to watch Caden and Taylor play this year. They both did really well and I will really look forward to it again next year!!!
One serious ball player!
Almost caught that one!
Nine!!!!
In May we celebrated Alli's 9th birthday. I can't believe my little girl is that old!!! For her birthday we went shopping and had so much fun together! I'm glad I have one daughter to have girl time with!! Then we got to celebrate with our good friends, the Lallatins. We haven't seen them for 2 years, but they got to come to Utah for a visit and it just happened to be the weekend of Alli's birthday. They came to Kangaroo Zoo with us, had a BBQ, and the girls got to sleep over. It was sooooo fun to see them again!!! We really miss having them as neighbors!! Alli also got to celebrate her birthday at my parents house and again at Matt's parents house on Memorial Day. She is more than spoiled!! :)
My dad's birthday is 4 days before Alli's so they get to celebrate together. Happy Birthday Dad!!
Thanks to my mom for making her yummy chocolate cake!!!

Taylor's Snacks
Taylor just ate a popcicle and then some ice cream and just came and asked me for more ice cream. I told him that was enough, but he insisted he was still hungry. So, I told him he could have an apple, some grapes, or baby carrots. He went to the fridge and started asking for other things and I kept saying no, that he could have either fruits or veggies. He then asked for a cheese stick and again I replied "fruits or veggies." And he turned to me with that "teenage attitude" he pulls off so well, and says, "cheese is a vegetable." So there you have it folks! Go to town on cheese because, apparently, it is a vegetable.

Mother's Day
Matt and the kids gave me a fire pit for our back yard for Mother's Day, so Sat. night we had to try it out...and it was so fun! We roasted marshmallows, which I discovered I love eating, and made s'mores. We had all the joys of a camp fire with a shower and washing machine right inside! It was great!!!
Here's Owen trying his first grahm cracker. He loved it until he got to the very last little bit, which he gagged on and threw up the rest!
Caden and his s'more...yum yum!!
Seriously...can we get a real smile...just once?!!
Taylor roasting 13 marshmallows!!!
Thanks Matt and kids for a great Mother's Day present!!! I love it! And Happy Mother's day to all you moms!!
