Last year at this time I was in LDS hospital holding a perfect little newborn! I know I ALWAYS say this...but I just have to. I CAN'T BELIEVE MY BABY IS 1!!! By the time my first child turned 1 I felt like she was so grown up (maybe it was wishful thinking since I was pregnant!!), but with Owen I feel like he's still a little baby! Words cannot express how much we love this little guy! We are so grateful he is a part of our family!!!

After the big moment! And it was only a moment!! He stuck his fingers in the cake, tried to flip the frosting off, got mad that it was still there, then cried and rubbed his eyes with it. That was it! A little disappointing, but what can I say...maybe he will be a clean boy! There's wishful thinking!

Happy Birthday Owen! It never ceases to amaze me how quickly the 1st year goes by! And it gets faster with each one. He is such a cutie :)
Wow! I can't believe he is one either. It does go by so fast. Being a mom is just the best thing ever huh? We need to get together with you guys sometime. You should bring the kids out and see the piglets and you can ride a pony.

What a sweetheart! I love that 1st birthday, it's so much fun! So, I just called your sister-in-law to make an appointment for our family pictures. She is AWESOME!! I love the pictures she took of your kids. They are darling! Anyway, can we plan on maybe the first weekend in November to get together? We are dying to see you guys!
Happy Belated Birthday Owen! Cari he is so cute. I wish I could experince being a mom but I love reading your blog and many other of my friends blogs that are mothers and it is fun what mother's experience with their childern. Cari you have a cute family.
