Camping Trip!!

This camping trip turned out NOTHING like we PLANNED!! We wanted to go to Big Cottonwood Canyon (or anywhere that hasn't reported bears recently-okay that was all me), and everything was full!!! We ended up going up by Pine View Resevoir and found the last available camp sight at 8:30 pm. It had no shade what-so-ever, but we managed to have a great time anyway! Happy Campers!
Notice our HUGE tent in the background. It's huge, but with four kids, it's so nice!

Caden and Taylor going fishing for the first time!

Alli fishing (unfortunately we never even SAW one fish!)

It was so hot during the day with no shade, so we took a little 10 minute drive to the Resevoir for a swim. Since we didn't plan on even camping up there, I didn't pack any swimwear, but they had a lot of fun swimming in their clothes!

This really ended up being the highlight of the trip for me! The water was warm, we found a perfect patch of shade, and the kids loved it!

Owen LOVED the water!

Big kisses!

Owen has never really loved this sling, but he LOVED it on this trip! He fell asleep in it twice! It was so nice to have!
Even though we didn't get to follow our original plan, we had a lot of fun!!!

It's sometimes nice to do things spur of the moment like that. I'm not sure if we're brave enough to try camping with all of our kids yet, but I'm sure when we do, we will get a tent that big too :)

I love your bangs by the way. You always look fabulous Cari!

Cari this Anjalee Balle from high school I don't know if you would remember or not. But it seems like you had a great camping trip! It is nice when you can find a great campsite and it would be hard to leave. I hope you are doing good.
