Seattle

I'm a little behind on my blogging, but I had to document this one extremely fun event!!! Last month, my awesome husband took a couple days off work to watch the kids so I could fly to Seattle with my friend and mom to visit my sister, Cadie, in Maple Valley, WA. She runs a boutique up there with one of her friends and I have always wanted to go to one. I finally got my chance. For three crazy days, Lindsay and I helped Cadie at the boutique while my mom babysat for her. Doesn't sound like much of a vacation...but it was!!! I had so much fun working with such cute girls without stopping to make lunch, change diapers, or give baths. The best part of all is that when we weren't working (if you call decorating and running a cash register working!) we got to shop!!! They had so many cute things at the boutique not to mention the fabulous sugar cookies we gorged ourselves on! We even found time one night to drive into Seattle and have dinner at the rotating restraunt on top of the Space Needle. By the end of the four days, I can honestly say I was exhausted, but I had such a great time!!!
Working the cash register!

Me and Lindsay attempting to get a shot with the Space Needle. It was harder than you think!

Lindsay with our surpirse guest...Edward Cullen. He loved to watch us work!

Me and Lindsay on the plane ride home. Can you tell we were a little tired?!!
The one thing that could make this post better would be a picture of Lindsay, laying in the middle of the road on a pile of soiled packing blankets, half laughing, half crying, holding her ankle. Good memories!!!

Cute! Jesse said Skylar had mentioned Linds was in Seattle, but I didn't know THAT's why! How fun for you guys! Seattle is sweet. Looks like a memorable trip. You guys crack me up. And tell Linds her hair looks really lustrous in these pics (why she won't blog or face book is beyond me...makes hard for communication) Hopefully you got to get some good stuff from the boutique too?

What a fun trip! It is always nice to get a little break from kids and day-to-day mom stuff. I could totally see you guys running a boutique and having a great time. Tell Cadie and your mom hi from me!
