Aug. Birthdays!

So I realize this post should have come before the school one, but the school one was still fresh in my mind, so better late than never...right? This is always a crazy time of year in our family! Amidst getting ready for school, we celebrated Matt'sbirthday on the 9th, our 11th anniversary on the 17th and Taylor's 6th birthday on the19th. Matt's dad and brother's birthday are also this month. It's crazy...but a great way to end the summer! Matt's birthday dinner (bbq chiken and mashed potatos)

Sadly, I can't even claim this "cake." They are cake donuts and donut holes from Dick's. Doesn't look like much on the plate, but they are sooo yummy!

Taylor woke up super early on his birthday and instead of waking us up, kept quietly getting out of bed and peeking into our room to see if we were up. Finally after hearing him a few times I told him to come in. Such a considerate kid!

He got a gumball machine and Wipeout for the Wii. I think he liked the gumball machine more than the game! We spent about an hour playing the Wii and eating gumballs, then ate breakfast and headed out the door.

We took him to Classic Fun Center. The kids just skated, but they all did great and had a fun time. Then we ate lunch and stopped at the Kaysville Theaters to see "Karate Kid." We all loved the movie.

Later that night Gpa and Gma Wilson came over and we had pizza, root beer floats and ice cream. We ended the night with all the neighbor kids coming over and playing night games until 11:00 pm.
Happy Birthday boys!!! I'm so glad you're both a part of my life!
