The one that started it all Part II

As I said in part I of this post...Once we finished our dining chairs, our kitchen didn't match! In fact it looked terrible! We've always wanted to redo our kitchen and now was the perfect time. We started with the back splash and did that in two days. The next Monday we started on the cabinets. While Matt was at work, I took all the cupboard doors off and washed them, filled all the holes and lightly sanded them. When Matt got home he would spray the cabinet doors in our garage. I worked inside on the cabinets themselves. After 4 days of intense labor (washing, sanding, priming, painting, and clean up) our cabinets were done. Just in time for Caden's birthday party and a week
at snowbird. The Monday after we got home from Snowbird, we painted the walls. And since I had recieved money for my birthday, I got to go shopping the next day and hang everything back up on the walls. Our kitchen is mostly complete. We still need to get blinds and curtains on the window above the sink...but other than that...IT'S DONE! It was a lot of work but I really wanted a project and had fun doing it. It was so worth it!

It is so cute!!! I think you should invite us over so we can see it in person...it has been a while since we have hung out.

Your kitchen turned out so nice! I especially loved how the cabinets turned out. What a difference! The paint color is really nice too, and all the colors go together with the new chairs too. Way to go!!
