sick of being sick

Owen has been sick non-stop for the last month! I swear it has something to do with the kids being back in school. He has had a cold, then hand-foot-mouth and staff infection, then the stomach flu that lasted a whole week with a fever. Poor kid has had it! This is how he fell asleep today.

I got the flu from Owen last week and Matt stayed home from work on Friday to help me out, then he ended up getting sick that night too. I was laying on my bed with Owen and heard dishes clanking in the kitchen. I looked at the clock and saw it was close to dinner time and was sure the kids were helping themselves to cookies and chips for dinner. So I went in to see if I could find something reasonably good for them and easy to fix. Instead I found Alli loading the dishwasher and fixing ramen noodles for her and the boys. She told me to go back to bed and she would take care of us. What a sweetie! Then the next morning she got up and made pancakes! This is what I found when I was finally allowed in the kitchen! Love that girl! (If you can't read what the notes say they say "Love You!" and "Relax xoxoxo!"
